Milliarum is a sponsor of the Deutschlandstipendium

Since October 1, 2023, we have been a partner of the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences as part of the Deutschlandstipendium. At the official scholarship award ceremony on November 9, we welcomed our first scholarship holder, Max Schwarzbach. He will join our team for a year as a working student and write his application-related master's thesis with us.

Promoting talented graduates has always been a high priority at Milliarum. The partnership with the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences as part of the Deutschlandstipendium now takes our commitment to promoting young talent to a new level. From now on, we will not only provide financial support for students for one year at a time, but also offer practical insights into SAP consulting and software development in the form of internships or working student positions.

Promoting the regional economy and local talent

The contact with the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences arose from joint projects that our Managing Director Harald Schmitz promoted: "We see the Deutschlandstipendium as an excellent opportunity to establish contact with promising students". This offers the opportunity to attract the interest of talented young professionals for Milliarum via a future-oriented platform and to inspire the best to work with us. "We also see our involvement in the Deutschlandstipendium as an opportunity to promote the regional economy and local talent."

Bringing talented young professionals and employers together

For many years, the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences has offered its students the opportunity to receive funding as part of the Deutschlandstipendium. The aim is to give young and talented young professionals access to a network for their future. The Deutschlandstipendium brings talented young people and employers together and gives scholarship holders the opportunity to actively shape their professional careers. "We are delighted to have gained Milliarum as a new sponsor. This enriches the diversity of our support within the framework of the Deutschlandstipendium", says Joachim Schick, sponsor contact for the Deutschlandstipendium at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences. He wishes Milliarum an enriching experience in this first year of scholarship support, which lays the foundation for an expansion of the partnership.

Gain valuable experience for your future career

Our first scholarship holder is Max Schwarzbach. As a working student, he will have the opportunity to spend a year looking over our shoulders, supporting us in consulting and development and enriching our innovations with fresh ideas. We are particularly pleased to be able to support him in the preparation of his practice-oriented master's thesis. "It is important to me that my work also offers value for billions", he reports. The next step is to find a topic: "I am particularly interested in how new technologies and artificial intelligence can help with current challenges." He is also primarily interested in gaining experience for the future: "At Milliarum, I have the opportunity to be closely involved in the daily work processes. That's why I see the opportunity to learn so much here."
