Milliarum at the 2026 DSAG Annual Convention

Enterprise AI for SAP On-Premise

„Claim your ground – Lead your Business“: This is the theme of the 2026 DSAG Annual Conference, which will take place October 6–8, 2026, at Koelnmesse. Milliarum will once again be represented with its own booth this year, demonstrating how companies can integrate artificial intelligence into their existing SAP landscapes today—even when SAP on-premise continues to form the backbone of their business processes.

Visit us in Exhibition Hall 2.2 at Booth I6 and experience the Milliarum AI Construction Kit (MAICK) in person.

Not every transformation requires a fresh start

The SAP world is undergoing profound change. S/4HANA, the cloud, business AI, Joule, SAP Business Data Cloud, automation, and new integration concepts are transforming the possibilities of modern enterprise IT. At the same time, IT architectures at many SAP user companies are still characterized by legacy on-premise landscapes and custom processes. Investments made over many years cannot simply be replaced overnight. This is precisely where the motto of this year’s DSAG Annual Congress comes in: „Claim your ground – Lead your Business“ stands for a balanced approach rather than euphoria, evaluating benefits rather than relying on buzzwords, and solving problems rather than blindly taking action. Milliarum addresses the current challenges faced by many SAP users: Enterprise AI must be aligned with the existing enterprise architecture—not the other way around.

Milliarum AI Construction Kit: Building Bridges Instead of Reinventing Systems

The Milliarum AI Construction Kit (MAICK) is the centerpiece of the trade show presentation. It connects existing on-premises SAP environments with modern AI technologies, thereby bridging the gap between proven SAP processes and the new possibilities offered by enterprise AI. Depending on the use case, companies can integrate cloud-based or on-premises large language models to implement hybrid scenarios. Predefined use cases and agents, customer-specific extension options, and support for MCP (Model Context Protocol), A2A (Agent-to-Agent), and SAP Joule pave the way for a gradual transition from individual AI applications to agent-based business processes. In addition, Milliarum presents AI tools for portfolio, project, and resource management in SAP that, for example, enable voice-based interaction with SAP functions and support users in utilizing and analyzing SAP data. This allows organizations to continue leveraging existing SAP investments, integrate AI, and strategically evolve their existing system landscape—rather than having to rebuild it entirely from scratch for AI.

In addition to its AI solutions, Milliarum also showcases its established solutions for portfolio, project, and resource management in SAP. These solutions help companies plan, manage, and evaluate projects, resources, and portfolios transparently, while also serving as the foundation for the targeted expansion of existing SAP processes through AI.

Two Presentations: AI in SAP On-Premise Explained in Practical Terms

In addition to showcasing our solutions at Booth I6, we are also contributing our expertise to the conference program. Two keynote presentations will focus on the technical implementation of AI in existing SAP landscapes:

Espresso Session: AI Applications in SAP On-Premise

„K“AI Applications in SAP On-Premise Using the Milliarum AI Construction Kit: A Hybrid Approach with Cloud Components and/or a Fully On-Premise Approach"

When? October 6, 2026, 1:00 p.m. – 1:20 p.m.

Where? On the Partner Stage in Hall 2.1

In this session, Dirk Ott will introduce the Milliarum AI Construction Kit and explore various architectural options for deploying AI in SAP On-Premise. The focus will include, among other things, the integration of large language models (LLMs) in the cloud and on-premises LLM installations, hybrid architectures, predefined use cases and agents, customer-specific customization options, support for MCP and A2A, and integration with SAP Joule. This addresses a key question for many SAP user companies: How can AI be integrated into the existing SAP landscape today without having to wait for a complete migration to the cloud?

Partner Presentation: From Chatbot to Agent

„A“I-Use Cases/Agents in SAP On-Premise via Chatbot, MCP, A2A, Joule: Milliarum AI Construction Kit as the Hub Between SAP ERP and AI"

When? October 6, 2026, 5:45 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Where? VP009

Niron Uthayakumar, an SAP consultant and ABAP developer, together with Patrick Seidel, a developer at Milliarum, will use practical AI use cases and agents to demonstrate how various frameworks and technologies can be integrated with SAP On-Premise. These include, among others, MCP Server, A2A, and Joule. Based on a selected use case, the underlying architecture will also be examined: Which components are required? How are the systems connected to one another? And what technical configuration is necessary to turn an AI concept into a functioning application in the SAP environment?

PLAVEO Visits the Milliarum Booth

A special highlight awaits booth visitors on the second day of the DSAG Annual Conference: We welcome our partner company PLAVEO, which will present its solutions for SAP Project System (PS) and demonstrate how multi-project management and Gantt planning can be optimized directly within the SAP environment. Planning conflicts are made visible in a configurable live cockpit. You can plan dates and capacities in the Gantt interface directly in SAP instead of in Excel and immediately see where your actual bottlenecks lie. This offers Milliarum users the opportunity to discover complementary solutions for even more transparent and efficient project management.

A functional highlight: the successor to the discontinued CM25 transaction, which you can experience in a live demo.

Shall we meet in Cologne?

Join us at the DSAG Annual Conference to discuss the next stage of development for SAP and enterprise AI! After all, the key question is no longer whether companies will adopt AI. The key is how they can integrate AI into their existing system and process landscape in a cost-effective, secure manner that delivers clear benefits. The Milliarum AI Construction Kit offers a pragmatic approach to this: continue using existing systems, integrate AI, and unlock new possibilities step by step. We look forward to exchanging ideas with SAP user companies, IT managers, SAP experts, and anyone who wants to learn how AI can be meaningfully integrated into SAP today.
