Milliarum at the DSAG Annual Congress 2025

Milliarum at the DSAG Annual Congress 2025

The 2025 DSAG Annual Convention took place from September 16 to 18 at the Messe und Congress Centrum in Bremen. Under the theme „The Art of Balance. Is It All About Balloons?“ participants explored how the move to the cloud gained enough momentum to ensure everyone could keep up. Milliarum was there in person with its own booth and presentations.

The direction is clear: The SAP world is undergoing change. For many companies, this means one thing above all else: making decisions, setting priorities, and managing complexity. The challenge is to critically examine existing processes, align technical capabilities with business requirements, and simultaneously meet regulatory, budgetary, and organizational constraints. The theme of this year’s DSAG Annual Conference captured this balancing act perfectly: The focus was on developing sustainable strategies that enable progress without losing touch with operational reality—strategies that don’t impose change but rather guide it, while also bringing along everyone who works with SAP on a daily basis.

AI tools boost portfolio, project and resource management in SAP

Milliarum played an active role in shaping this course. We gave the strategy a boost through our solutions for portfolio, project, and resource management in SAP, which we presented at our booth at the DSAG Annual Congress. The focus this year was on our AI apps, which use voice-based interactions to guide users through artificial intelligence. This helped occasional users navigate SAP functions and automated processes. Our Milliarum AI Construction Kit provided a framework for creating AI-based UI5 chat applications in SAP ABAP in an intuitive and company-specific manner. With the AI chatbot SAP applications could be controlled using natural language, whether they were cloud-based or running on-premises. This made it possible, for example, to launch SAP functions, execute tasks issued as „prompts,“ and—with access to relevant company-specific data—generate detailed analyses and evaluations in text form, as graphs, or as tables. This saved time, increased productivity, and reduced the learning curve for SAP users.

Inspiring sessions to balance investment and demand

In addition to our product presentations at the Milliarum booth, we also provided the necessary balance between ambitious innovations and users’ real-world requirements through presentations and espresso sessions at the DSAG Annual Conference.

Our program at the DSAG Annual Congress 2025:

1st partner presentation "AI Use Cases in SAP On-Premise with the Milliarum AI Construction Kit" with Harald Schmitz and Niron Uthayakumar
Wednesday 17.09.2025 17:45-18:30.

In this partner presentation, practical AI use cases were presented, with concrete examples illustrating the added value of AI solutions in real-world business operations. Based on a selected use case, we also examined the underlying architecture and explained the technical configuration required for a successful implementation.

2nd Espresso Session with Dirk Ott: "Generative AI in SAP On-Premise"
Wednesday 17.09.2025 18:00-18:20

With insights into the connection of LLMs to existing SAP landscapes, including our no-code chatbot and the AI Construction Kit.

3. „Women in Tech“ session with Freya Wester-Ebbinghaus and Anna Hartmann: „Between Structural Resistance and Human Limits—Time for a New Way of Thinking About Capacity, Role Logic, and Resource Planning with SAP.“
Wednesday 17.09.2025 16:45-17:30

Employees were juggling day-to-day tasks, projects, change initiatives, and operational pressures, leading to issues such as burnout, high turnover, and resource conflicts. The presentation demonstrated how a shift in thinking regarding capacity and role logic, along with the use of an AI-powered SAP chatbot, simplified task distribution and provided greater insights through AI-driven analytics. The goal was to resolve structural bottlenecks, enable sustainable performance, and use AI analytics to gain deeper insights and facilitate intuitive interaction.

4. „R&D Management“—Anyone who wants to boost the performance of their R&D needs transparency, professional, system-supported controlling, and AI.

On Wednesday, attendees had the opportunity to speak with Simon Moser (Wieselhuber & Partner) about best practices and reliable metrics in R&D controlling and to discuss their questions. Specialists from Milliarum presented implementation options for networked planning, integrated management, and the use of AI in R&D processes.
